Kim Pearson
Kim is Executive Director/Co-Founder of TransYouth Family Allies (TYFA) and National Board President of PFLAG-TNET. She first directed her energy into GLBT support, advocacy and education as the founder and president of her local PFLAG Chapter when the youngest of her three children came out as lesbian in 2005. Eighteen months later she found herself facilitating that same child's transition to living life as a young man. Fueled by her passion for ensuring respect and equal rights for children like hers she co-founded TYFA, the first and only national organization that supports, educates and advocates exclusively for gender variant and transgender children.
Rebecca Allison, M.D. and Margaux Ayn Shaffer
Dr. Becky Allison lost her medical practice in the South when she began her transition in 1993. She moved to Arizona, where she has practiced cardiology for fifteen years. Becky has been named as one of Phoenix Magazine's "Top Doctors" several times. Her website has been utilized by the Trans community for many years as an invaluable aid in the transition journey, DrBecky.com.

Margaux served as Deputy Director of AEGIS, the American Educational Gender Information Service, and was active in the early years of the Southern Comfort Conference, serving on the program committee and as a panelist. She has appeared on the Joan Rivers program and was in the first all-transgender cast of The Vagina Monologues (Los Aneles 2004), performing "My Vagina Was My Village," a depiction of the Bosnian rape camps. In 2004 Margaux founded AZDOR.ORG, planning the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil at the state capitol.  Her advocacy is year-round, doing education and outreach at Phoenix Pride and the Arizona Rainbows Festival.
 

Rev Paul Langston-Daley
Rev Paul Langston-Daley is an Ordained Unitarian Universalist minister. He has served congregations in the Unitarian Universalist Association for the past 10 years in New York, California, Pennsylvania and is currently serving in Arizona. He is a recent graduate of the International Institute for Restorative Practices in Bethlehem PA. Paul has training in Healthy Congregations, conflict management and community organizing and has led numerous workshops in these areas. He has also led workshops on congregational development and membership integration for ministers, directors of religious education and lay leaders.

Prior to his transition, Paul coordinated the Recovery Support area at the Michigan Womyns Music Festival for 15 years.  Paul was and still is a staunch feminist and worked in the area of womens reproductive rights, and GLTB rights.

Paul is has one son who lives in California. His son comes to visit several times a year and they talk on the phone regularly. Paul is currently engaged and he and his fianc live in Glendale Arizona with their two dogs Miso and Harley.
Dharma Kelleher
Dharma Kelleher is a queer author, blogger and podcaster who frequently focuses on the topics of addiction and depression in the LGBT community. She is the author of the book Fight the Misery Conspiracy: Reclaiming Your Right to be Happythe host of the Transgender Survival Guide podcast, a member of the Advice Panel for TheLesbianLifestyle.com and the admin for MTFMentors.org. Randi &
Shellie R
Randi and Shellie married in 1997 after Randi swept Shellie off her feet in a three month whirlwind romance. While they began their lives together as husband and wife (complete with fairy tale expectations), Randi began to address her gender dysphoria seven years into the marriage and soon after, began the transition process. Today, they are living happily ever after as princess and princess, after making some minor changes in the original fairy tale paradigm. Randi currently works with American Express as a senior programmer analyst and Shellie teaches piano in her private studio while pursuing a masters degree in counseling from the University of Phoenix.
Peterson Toscano
As a gay man, Peterson's journey out of the closet has been long and complicated. After years of submitting to reparative therapy through counseling, ex-gay support groups, and even three exorcisms, Peterson enrolled in the ex-gay residential program, Love in Action. He graduated successfully from the program nearly two years later, but in January of 1999 he finally came OUT and fully accepted himself as a gay man.
Later in 1999 Peterson founded p2son productions and began performing his one-person plays.  A comic character actor and a playwright, Peterson often draws on poetry, the Bible and other texts as well as extensive interviews to inspire his theater work. Known for his flawless character transformations, Peterson literally changes the way his whole body and face appear on stage along with his voice and accent.

Mila & Jayna
Mila and Jayna are the co-host of the award nominated internet radio show "Trans-Ponder: Transgender Life in the Trenches", and the creators of the comic book "Ocity : the Osiris City Adventures". Jayna is a 3D animator who has worked on feature films and videos games, and currently teaches art at a university. Mila is an artist and illustrator who currently manages the operations of a non profit that provides legal services and advocacy for the community. Together they have spent the last 2 years creating original audio and video content on the TransFM internet broadcast network. Abigail (Abby) Jensen
Abigail Jensen is a trans woman and attorney from Prescott, Arizona.  She is also President of QsquaredYouth, an education, support and advocacy organization for LGBTQ youth in Yavapai County; a member of the boards of directors of the Prescott Area Women's Shelter and TransMentors International; and a general rabble rouser on issues of equal rights for transgender, as well as, lesbian, gay and bisexual, people.
Maria Denicola
Maria has been doing electrolysis for more than 26 years. She has helped to enrich the lives of hundreds of patients by removing unwanted or embarrassing body hair.She's made countless life-long friends, and can truly say that she really does love the work that she does. Maria feels blessed in so many ways. She's been working in the Transgender community for almost as long as she has been doing electrolysis. It is a community that is near and dear to my heart. A.C.
A.C. is a transman who finally transitioned in his early 30's, He is a speaker for Orange County PFLAG, and former board member of ECCO PAC in Orange County. He loves to spend his free time helping the trans community and their families. He considers himself very blessed to have the support and love of his family,friends,fiancee and mostly of his son.
Erin Russ
Erin Russ describes herself as a reluctant activist. A former Army Infantry Company Commander, whose promising career dissolved into an untimely oblivion as a result of her gender non-conformity, she is a Christian and an Eagle Scout with a sense of fair play and a touch of the knight errant who has rarely met a windmill at which she does not feel the urge tilt. Erin has traded combat boots for heels and camouflage fatigues for cashmere and combined her leadership, communication, theology and planning skills with a fierce determination to stand with Christ on behalf of the underdog in her role as a public face for the thousands, and possibly millions, of gender variant people who are unable to stand up and tell their stories. 

She has a long history of speaking to college classes, civic organizations, religious groups and business/employer groups on behalf of gender diversity with the goal of creating a society where those who seek acceptance, anonymity and personal privacy are able to do so without fear in either social or religious circles.

Ed is the Treasurer of Transmentors International Inc.  He is a gay man who came to terms with his sexuality later in life.  Ed is excited to be working with the transgender men, women and youth.  He is committed to keeping abreast and building his knowledge base that involves the transgender men, women and youth. He is actively involved with the GLBT community, and takes on roles that allow him to take ownership of issues that involve our GLBT friends and family.  

Cameron Lee King is a 29 year-old male-to female transsexual. She accepted and embraced her true identity approximately five years ago and is currently in transition. As a new member of the transgender community, she encourages others to share their experiences and knowledge as she is not shy about expressing herself. She is very excited to be living a life worth living for the very first time and has been encouraged to utilize her youthful buoyancy in addressing issues she feels strongly about.

 

Allyson Robinson
Prior to her gender transition, Allyson Robinson graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, served five years as a U.S. Army officer, received a Master of Divinity degree in Social Justice from Baylor University, and pastored Baptist congregations on two continents. She's proudest, though, of her "thrilling" marriage of 15 years and of her four "mind-bogglingly well adjusted" children. Asked to summarize her life in six words or less, she wrote, "When in doubt, bet on love." Since 2008 she has worked as Associate Director of Diversity at the Human Rights Campaign, focusing on transgender concerns.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of the International Foundation for Gender Education and the National Leadership Council of the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists.
 
Michael &
Lillian Brown
Michael is the Executive Director of TransMentors International. He is a transman who transitioned later in life, and met his wife Lillian during his transition. Michael is actively involved in several local trans-related groups and organizations, including co-moderating a local "co-ed" trans support group. Lillian is an RN, currently working at an assisted living facility in the Phoenix area. She has been supportive of Michael since the day they met, and has devoted herself to learning about transgender men, women and youth. She has witnessed a multitude of trans issues, and the situations they face in their day-to-day lives. She has been utilizing her experiences and observations to educate others about the trans community.
